I was passing the Oxfam shop (a charity second hand shop, like a Salvation Army store) on my way to the chemist, so I decided to go in. I’ve been looking for a big leather bag for some time with no luck, as everything was too expensive or poor quality.
So…how happy was I to find a big chocolate real leather weekend bag, not unlike this, for only £25! Ok, the front zip pocket was broken, the inside zip pocket was missing the tab for the zip, and there was a hole in the lining where the shop had cut the label out, but otherwise, it was like new.
30 mins after I got home, I’ve fixed the zip on the front, found a cute wooden turtle key-ring to use as a tab for the broken zip inside, and sewn a cream canvas patch over the tear. The bag is now usable, cute and especially mine. I’m so happy!
