Page turning device for quadrepelegic

My mother is working with a quadrepelegic student at the elementary school she works at. She has been looking for some sort of device to hold a book and turn the pages for him. So far, the most affordable option she has managed to find is around $1000, which seems a bit pricey, and from what I understand is a bit fancier than needed.

I figured maybe someone here has some experience with assistive technology and has come across this issue before.

The only thing I could find on a quick search was Consumer | oandp.com - Orthotics & Prosthetics Info.
Not much help, but this will give the post a well-deserved bump.

Google “mouthstick”. Various devices exist which allow quads having varying degrees of function to turn pages, type, and perform other tasks.

So that’s what they’re calling a page-turning device these days
