One should also consider the possibility that it’s an insurance scam; or the work of a pyromaniac who could care less about the church; or that it’s even a sympathy play.
I remember people getting all worked up about the noose at Columbia University. Now it seems more likely than not it was a hoax.
But what if you have a reasoned discussion and they still don’t agree with you? Is arson OK then?
Isn’t this evidence that God doesn’t like their church, or their denomination, or them? Whichever, God is pissed, and withdrew his holy sprinkler system.
No, it’s not ok then. That’s when you shout and threaten them. If they don’t agree with you then, then it’s anonymous phone calls. It’s only if that doesn’t work that arson is ok.
Well there’s your answer. Ladies’ craft groups are a recipe for disaster. Those bitches would crochet a nuke, if you gave them the right ingredients.
:dubious: Wouldn’t God’s piss put out the fire anyway? I think the problem here is a lack of God’s piss
Oh man.
Folks, I’m sorry about the fire. I realize now that the priest was saying to get to Heaven we have to embrace our Son…
Hoax or not, the intent was to inflict fear upon people.
At what step of the way do you send poison pen letters and blackmail threats?
Maybe it’s just the Alaskan music scene picking up steam.
Wow…I didn’t even know Great White was playing Wasilla!
Is there even any evidence that it was politically motivated?
Well, sure, but I’m not much for confrontation. Why should I be denied a perfectly workable solution to a difference of opinion just because I prefer not to yell at people?
By whom, for what purpose?
And if you pile up a paper trail of poison pen letters and phone bills they’ll CATCH you. Skip straight to arson and they’ll never suspect you.
Especially if you’ve been reincarnated as a butterfly. No one ever suspects the butterfly.
Well we know it wasn’t witches; it had been protected against them.
How do you know what the intent was? So far, I don’t think we have any indication at all as to motive. I see no reason to automatically assume it had anything to do with Palin or politics.
I wonder if it was the same guy who threw his shoes at Bush today. Man, people sure are getting rude these days.
