Palm Pilot - Broken Screen

I cracked the screen on my Palm Pilot Pro.

I have managed to get the case open and poke around inside. Is there a way to buy a replacement screen? Is it worth it? If not, is there anything else I can do with this piece of junk?

They’ve been really good with me on warranties over the years. I bought one of the very first versions about 4 years ago, and after 2 1/2 years it broke and they fixed it for free, even though it was way out of warranty. I now have one of the Palm VIIs, and it had an initial problem that they fixed quickly.

Call 'em up and see what they’ll do.

I hear you can easily replace the screen if you can find one. The usual way to find a replacement screen is by buying a used, older model Palm, but since your Palm is not exactly the newest model anyway, you might as well just buy a used Pilot Pro and use that. Or you can send it to the manufacturer, pay around $100 and get the screen replaced. (Not too sure about that figure, call them and check.)

Thanks all.
