Palmyra, VA

So I was looking for Hillsboro yesterday (there are two in Virginia), and I find lots of things that aren’t Hillsboro.

And lo and behold, what do I find?

Yup, that’s right. Palmyra, VA. A city in Virginia bears the SN of my beloved virtual wife. ::wipes away a tear::

Is there another city in the entire US that shares its name with a doper? I mean, other than possibly Manhattan:) Or is my beloved —ALRIGHT, I’LL STOP WITH THE SAPPY SHIT— friend Palmyra the only one?

Johnny L.A.?

Isn’t there also a Palmyra, New York?

How about Cecil, PA? How about Cecil, OH? Perhaps Cecil, Alabama.

Next there is Montfort, Wisconsin amd Hamlet, North Carolina.

Now on to Homer, NY and then a quick stop in Fenris, Louisiana.

Last but not least, there’s Freedom, New Hampshire.

And there’s a

Spritle, Alaska
Spritle, Alabama
Spritle, Maryland
Spritle, Kentucky
Spritle, Minnisota
Spritle, Iowa
Spritle, New York
Spritle, Los Angeles
Spritle, Russia
Spritle, Boogie-woogie Land

[sub]OK, so I made these up. When I’m king there will be a “Spritle” in every state.[/sub]

You’ve obviously never been to Palmyra if you’re calling it a “city.” Its not much more than a wide space on Route 15 in Fluvanna County. True, it is the county-seat and the courthouse is there, but that is just about it. Beautful country, but a a “city” is ain’t.

There is also a Palmyra, NJ. In fact, it’s on the west coast of NJ, and there’s a bridge from it to Tacony, PA called (appropriately enough) the Tacony-Palmyra Bridge.

iampunha, you are clearly shooting for the coveted “Party MVP” award aren’t you?

Yes, there are two Hillsboros in VA. But only one really matters.
