Guy putting it together says “So $8 apiece”.
I say “No, that’s like no tip at all. It’s $9 apiece.”

The Mises site actually tolerates quite a diverse array of opinions. Most of the posters are of the Austrian school though, so you’ll be unlikely to win any converts. You’ll certainly learn how to hone and refine your arguments though.

If I can personally cover all of the costs of Obamacare simply by managing my labor a little bit more closely, then it’s hardly an earth-shattering business-model-fracturing Armagedddon.

Their money is derived from the labour of their employees. Reducing hours makes sense only if it switches tax brackets, not as a principle to extract more value from labour (in fact, limits on working hours were opposed by the freemarketers of yore [based on the principles of Dr. Ure], claiming that the twelfth hour of work from an employee was the only profitable one: all prior labour covering merely the fixed and variable costs of production).
