I just saw the documentary “Paper Clips,” about the middle school students who seek to personalize an aspect of the Holocaust by collecting six million paper clips. The project grows and they ultimately procure a railcar from Germany that was used to transport concentration camp victims, bring it to their town in Tenneesee, and convert it into a museum to display the paper clip collection.
Very moving story.
Of interest in this thread, however, was the piece of Appalacian folk music called “Jubilee,” with lyrics written for this project, and sung beautifully by Allison Kraus during the documentary and again over the closing credits.
I have to have this song.
If anyone knows where I can buy it, I will be very grateful.
Please help.
