Paranoid Computer Q re: sysinfo.org

I was just going through the computer questions sticky thread and came upon a link to sysinfo.org, which has a page where you can lookup programs/files that open on Startup to see if they’re necessary or not. I was using MSCONFIG (Startup tab) and looking up the programs/files that were checked and unchecking ones that sysinfo.org says aren’t necessary. Then, suddenly, I can’t get to any sysinfo.org pages at all; I get the dreaded “the page cannot be displayed” page that I know users of the SDMB are all too familiar with.

Did something happen where something saw I was doing that and now it’s blocking me from getting to sysinfo.org? I know that seems outlandish, but the timing is awfully weird.

It just looks like the site has gone down. It does get a lot of hacker attacks.

Just a coincidence.

I figured as much, but the timing was weird. I’ll put my tinfoil hat back in the drawer now.
