When I perform a search on google and click on one of the results it does not show the page, but an advert pops up instead. my popup blocker is enabled. Im stumped.
You have a malware problem. Get anti-malware from www.malwarebytes.org and run that. If that doesn’t work, go to the forums at bleepingcomputer.com and post the problem. They will have walk you through diagnosing the exact issue and fixing it.

Check your email. Note that you may have to rename the executable to get it to install or run or both.
