A few weeks ago, I got a parking ticket for $38.50 in Kansas City for wrong-way on a two-way street (I parked just on the other side of a “Do Not Enter” sign, coming from a one-way street that turned into a two-way street). My girlfriend mailed a check for that amount with my info enclosed to them, but shortly thereafter (probably sent before they got the check) I got a notice in the mail here which has a “Waiver, Plea of Guilty” on it which I’m supposed to sign and send in, along with the check. If the fine has already been paid, do I have to send this in too?
