Hey Christ said that the bar is set pretty high. I’ve always found Christianity pretty hokey myself. A lot of equivocation. Either you are part of Jesus’s gang or you aren’t, you can either hang, or you can’t, walk the walk and talk the talk or stumble and babble. Either way, all religious systems would be ‘worldly constructs’ as far as I can tell. True morality does not seem to be constrained by semiotics, or the ability to legislate, and therein lies the tragedy of the human condition. At least, that is the lesson I take away from Christ’s teachings, but I may be as way off base as any redneck who thinks that God is telling him to fight the holy war against the queers.
