Remember the movie with Robin Williams? Yeah, I know a lot of you don’t like him, but that was a touching movie, n’est pas? I want to go see him. It didn’t hit me that the movie was based on a real person. I think this is so cool! Wow.
He came for a talk at my school, the University of Hawaii, about a year or so ago. I don’t know anyone who attended his seminar, so I don’t know if it was any good or not.
But yeah, it was kinda neat knowing that a sort-of famous guy was coming to our pathetic little university.
I have heard he is a bit out there, but quite a good speaker. Let us know what you thought.
I will Brynda!
He’s real alright, and probably wants some cash for his altruistic endeavors. Check him out:
Well, dustMagnate, money is kinda important.
Agreed. I meant no disrespect to Mr. Adams or his Gesundheit Institute, I merely wanted to direct his fans to his website. He spoke at my University last year (in fact he attended here years ago) and for weeks everyone was wearing clown noses. I like him. He is unique.
Cool! All the more reason to go! I want a clown nose! :o)
oops, that was suposed to be a :o)
Preview + disable smiles = Coolness.
I saw the movie (blech!) and if the real-life patch Adams is anything like the movie, I would’nt trust him to doctor up a sick cat!
This lunatic was so obsessed with getting his patients to laugh all the time, I would’nt trust his judgement about most things.
Yes, medicine is a serious business, WHEN MY LIFE is at stake. I don’t want some clown writing prescriptions for me!
