How old is William Reade in 1815?
I can’t say for sure, but dates and ages are a little loose in O’Brian’s books. Also, IIRC, the location and extent of Reade’s wound changes: sometimes the entire arm is gone from the shoulder, other times he has a stump. I would guess early 20s or late teens by 1815.
