Couldn’t have happened to a nicer bunch. This case has dragged on for years and IIRC one of the principals has kicked the bucket.
The person I feel sorry for is Ken White. This was just a juicy story to write about, with houses of lies built upon foundations of lies, lawyers acting badly and judges getting furious. There’s just no way that any follow-up endeavors could ever match it. I mean,where else could you find such depraved indifference to the facts and utter disregard for morality? Where, I ask?
It’s kind of sad. Although I do listen to his podcast, Ken hasn’t updated his blog since March and hasn’t had Prenda news to report since March 2017, when Steele plead guilty. I miss that.
I may have to re-read some of the old posts.
Um. I was joking? All the President’s Lawyers has far more material to work with than Prenda ever gave him. The blog has largely gone by the wayside because he’s been busy with other stuff - a couple podcasts (besides ATPL, he does Make No Law), columns for The Atlantic, and rumour has it actual legal work for paying clients, too.
