Paul Kaye's "British self defense" video...origin?

I got sent a brilliant video on my phone the other day, and I’ve managed to track down an online version.

It’s Paul “Dennis Pennis” Kaye’s work, but it looks to me like it was made as part of a bigger show.

Can anyone tell me what this is from? I’ve not seen enough of his stuff to know where it’s from…

It’s a great video but not sure where it came from.

The really interesting thing is that it is a lot closer to reality than you think. Other than boxers, I’ve seen martial artists get the living shite kicked out of them in a real fight (including a professional kickboxer who was beaten off Talbot street in Dublin and then stabbed). Street fights are fast and brutal and depend a lot more on getting the first hit in rather than knowing pressure points to disable someone.

If it’s British, it ought to be Self Defence - with a C; we never spell it with an S.

Er…yeah. Dont know how I let that slip past my English-radar. I’m normally a speling/puntuation Nazi, I think I just C&P’d the title from the original web site.
