Anyone heard Paul Simon’s new song Fathers & Daughters?
A collegue of mine just played that for his daughters birthday over the weekend and all 30 people their practically cried a river…wow I’m usually not that sappy.
Anyone know other good PS songs? or am I alone on this one?
Other good Paul Simon songs? Are you kidding? Most of his catalogue is pretty phenomenal (yes, I am a fan, why do you ask?).
If you don’t know much about Paul Simon, try perhaps “Simon and Garfunkel’s Concert in Central Park.” Many Simon and Garfunkel tunes, plus some Paul Simon solo tunes.
As far as other Paul Simon albums go, “Kodachrome/There Goes Rhymin’ Simon,” “Graceland,” and “Paul Simon,” are all really wonderful.
For Simon and Garfunkel albums, try “Bookends,” “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” and “Sounds of Silence.”
But really, in the words of Rev. Lovejoy, “oh, it’s all good.”
… and just in the interest of completeness, the song was featured in The Wild Thornberries movie. Indeed a great song that, I’m not afraid to admit, nearly had me in tears too.
