My DVR cut out at the very end of the second episode. The guy from Count’s Kustoms had just finished restoring the old Indian motorcycle. He was worried because his price was going to be more than estimated. Just as he was about to say how much it cost, the fricking recording ended!
How much was the restoration? How did Rick take the news? How much do they think they can sell the bike for?

Rick was not happy about the final price tag on the restoration. It ended up being $14,000 in parts and labor bringing the total investment in the bike to $23,950. However, he was told that he could easily get $30,000, but probably more towards $35,000.
Holy crap! Fourteen grand for the restoration!
I find it hard to believe that at no point, the restorer calls Rick up, to say, “Hey, this is gonna be triple what I quoted, you sure you wanna go this fancy?”

I’m not sure how that works exactly. Especially when the restoration is 150% of the cost of the bike. It looked really great after the restoration and it turns out that almost all the parts that were on it when they brought it in were original.
