I am trying to get an idea how much a certain person gets paid. What I know is that she “helps with appetizer prep” at a steakhouse in a casino in southern Oklahoma.
I figure this is $10/hr max, but what do you think?
Kitchen prep people don’t make much. Almost everyone who does that here is an immigrant and they get paid minimum wage ($8/hr in California). If they have been there a while they may get a dollar or two more, so your assessment would be fair. In Oklahoma though I believe the minimum wage is lower so they may get even less.
