Let’s assume I play ten hours of blackjack at $10 per hand using perfect blackjack strategy. How much worse am I off if I am playing at a table where blackjacks pay 3:2 instead of 6:5
Make that how much better off am I if I play 3:2 rather than 6:5
According to the Wizard of Odds (Blackjack House Edge - Wizard of Odds), the house advantage with eight decks, standing on soft 17, doubling after splits, up to four splits, resplitting aces, hitting on split aces, late surrender, and blackjack paying 3:2 is 0.22294%. Everything being the same, but with blackjack paying 6:5, the house advantage is 1.58093%.
The larger number is 7.1 times the smaller number, so 6:5 pays much, much worse.
