PC Magazine or PC World: Recommendations for the clueless?

Carnac is trying to keep abreast with computing technology.

I’ve read PC Magazine, and like it, but I just read that PC World has the larger circulation.

Recommendations?

While you can get much of their content for free on their respective websites, I have been a loyal subscriber to PCWorld magazine since I was shopping for my first Pentium II 400 computer. I like it alot more then PC Magazine.

Hrmm… Neither for me. The amount of useable information is always fairly low, and more than half of the magazine is adverts.

I use web based IT news sites such as

www.slashdot.org - Good all around geek/IT news site.
www.theinquirer.net - another good news site
www.rage3d.com - for ATI news
www.bluesnews.com - aimed at gamers, but does a great job of compiling links to other review/news sites.

The only paper magazine I subscribe to is Windows & .NET Magazine.
