well, this thread will probably be moved if you want opinions, but it’s on bravo, on cable or dish. i’m not a huge fan of michael moore (i think that’s his name)…i think he’s too abrasive. being subversive is one thing, being abrasive is another. granted, some of the pieces are funny, but as a whole, unfunny.
It isn’t considered big in the US. The Bravo network is one of the smaller cable channels, but it is still common on most cable and dish subscriptions. Micheal Moore’s old show, TV Nation I believe, started out on broadcast TV here in the states. First on NBC then FOX. It finally ended up on Comedy Central (a cable network) for a while.
As far as I know, The Awful Truth is doing well for a cable show. They just finished their second season and are slated for a third.
I haven’t actually seen The Awful Truth yet, but I really liked TV Nation and Moore’s documentaries.
