Or another useless prediction of the fall of American Civilization?
I’m trying to pick my favorite end of times scenario, and I’m torn between Peak Oil or Bioterrorism.
Aw crap.
In the sense of peak production at current inflation-adjusted prices, they’re probably not too far off. Oil, like any other commodity, will get more expensive faster than it gets more scarce. That may create a lot of economic dislocation, but the I don’t see it as the End of Civilization.
