Peanut Butter And Jelly Poll

Crunchy PB with apple-cinnamon jelly. Sadly, it’s almost impossible to find anymore.

It took me years to realise that “jelly” means “jam” in the US, and that what I call “jelly” they call “jello”.

Imagine how weird I thought that sandwich must look when I heard it mentioned on TV?

I still think peanut butter and jam combined sounds disgusting! I’m pretty sure I’ll never try it.

I chose smooth with strawberry, although in this house it’s really strawberry preserves and not jelly.

I do like grape, but I was raised on strawberry preserves so that’s just what I get at the store out of habit. That apple jelly sounds awesome…might have to pick me up some of that on the next trip.

I wish folks would tell us where they hail from when they relate that sort of information.

Where y’all from, dude?

Smooth with raspberry or blackberry jelly. I will do strawberry if that’s all you’ve got, and I like honey, but it is just about the messiest, stickiest lunch possible – have plenty of wetnaps handy.

Strawberry jelly and crunchy peanut butter if the jelly is store bought. If it’s homemade jelly, then I prefer blackberry jelly.

Lately I prefer nutella on toasted 7 grain bread with strawberry jelly.

No preference as to smooth or crunchy, but I like jalapeno jelly.

Jelly is a heresy. Jam is far superior.

Crunchy, and blackberry or boysenberry jam. Or my grandmother’s homemade strawberry jam. Or peach jam. Or honey. Or honey-and-raisins. Or sliced sweet pickles.

I very, very rarely eat PB&J. When I do, it’s usually raspberry or red currant jelly.

Done.

You are a very sick person and should speak with your Minister or Physician.

Almond butter with blueberry preserves.

JAM JAM JAM

I don’t really care what kind of jam, I partial to raspberry, but jelly is really terrible and grape is the worst. I also vote for crunchy I guess I just like the mouth feel.

Peter Pan crunchy and apple jelly.

Jam is much better than jelly. I generally default to smooth peanut butter and strawberry jam, but variants in either are fine, too.

Do you guys put on your peanut butter and jelly separately, or mix them together first? I do either, depending on my mood or whatever else I’m eating. If I’m using honey or I’m having the pb&j with soup or stew I mix them together. If I’m just having a sandwich I don’t mix them.

Crunchy/blackberry or rasberry.

Something about the word jelly. I haven’t eaten jelly since I was a kid.

Jelly. Jelly. Jelly, jelly jelly jelly jelly. Try it. It’s funny, but doesn’t sound edible.

Smooth or cruchy (but crunchy is prefered) with black raspberry jelly. On wheat.

My dad’s favorite sandwich!
I chose other because I love peanut butter and honey!
