True enough. Staffers do crazy shit if they even think that the boss is going to be inconvenienced in any way. And of course, rumors precede the visitors. I do know that for Clinton’s visit, the embassy had to ship in hundreds of cases of bottled water (I think it was Spa brand) from Europe, even though the local bottled water was thoroughly tested and vetted. They didn’t come close to drinking it all, of course, but the taxpayers footed the bill.
As for Albright, it’s impossible not to look like you’re looking at her forehead, as she is a very short person.
