I’m trying to simplify my life, paring down the stuff that used to fill a larger three bedroom house into something more appropriate for a small two bedroom townhouse. Since I bought an Olympus E-PL1 as an upgrade to a point-and-shoot Panasonic Lumix, I realized that I have too many cameras, and some have to go.

The first to go: a Pentax P30T 35mm film camera. I bought it new in 1994 or 1995, when I was in grad school. It’s clean and very gently used; probably a 9 to 9.5 out of 10, with no dents or scratches. The Pentax-A 1:4-5.6 35-80mm zoom lens isn’t high-end, but it’s clear, with no scratches; maybe a very minor scuff or two. From Matt’s Classic Cameras:

Usually the bodies alone go for about $30 to $40; a price that doesn’t seem to correspond with the generally positive reviews I’ve seen online. I’m asking $40 for the camera and lens shipped USPS in the United States (sorry, but I don’t want to deal with customs). I’ll also throw in a Tiffen circular polarizer.

I will consider this, as I love film cameras, and the price is good. I ask further: do you have any medium format, preferably 6x6, cameras for sale also?

You’re tempting me sorely. It would be a good companion to my K1000. But I have too many 35 mm cameras already. It’s hard to choose which to use!

Customs is only a problem for the receiver, who has to pay the fees. For you, it just means filling out a simple form that gets attached to the shipping box.

This thread prompted me to give roomie an Olympus OM10 I didn’t want. (I only bought it because I wanted the Winder 2 it came with.)
