People are not bolstering my faith in humanity tonight

Oh, I never heard that tin-foil-hat spin. I saw lots of Photoshop crap that the owner of the company stuffed into everyone’s Inbox daily, but I guess he missed that one.

Unless you’re a 70 or old man, an extremely poor helathed man, or no immune system at all, Corona is the least of your worries. If your all those things, then you a dead man.

The headlights thing is annoying and unsafe though. And I really hate it when people just leave their parking lights on instead. Is it really that hard to give it that extra 1/4th of a click/pull for your headlights?

Tell that to my cousin’s husband, who is in his thirties and has been laid out flat by it, with no certainty of recovery. Contrary to insane delusion, he does exist, and he does indeed have worries that pale next to a fucking pandamic.

Your assessment of Covid risk is simply not accurate.

I agree about headlights and parking lights, although at the time I was driving the parking lights would have at least helped people stand out a little from the dark grey background. Honestly, I don’t understand why there aren’t more vehicles by now with automatic, always-on running lights. My vehicle is nearly a decade old (a Toyota RAV4) and has them, but clearly they aren’t very common, at least around here.

This week’s winner in the category of “Intriguing Headlines I Never Clicked On”:

Intriguing indeed! I think I would have clicked. That’s a pretty funny one.

Not sure why her mental illness is funny.
