In the spirit of this thread, I thought I’d start one for Kerry.
Whom should Kerry thank that he normally wouldn’t thank if he wins the election ?
My choices: Bush & the Iraqi insurgents.

Donald Rumsfeld
Howard Dean, Michael Moore and those folks. They were the ones that lit a fire under democrats and first drove Bush’s approval ratings below 60%.
I vote for the entirety of Team Bush.
Without them there would be no “Kerry Republicans.”
Really it’s just the gung-ho Iraq war faction, although that doesn’t leave a whole lot of them out does it?
Saddam Hussein, for having the good sense to eliminate his weapons of mass destruction and weapons of mass destruction program related activities.
Lyndie England, for serving as poster girl in the Abu Ghraib disaster.
David Kay, for doing such a nice job of slam dunking the al Qa Qaa story.
Karl Rove, for printing up that premature ‘Mission Accomplished’ banner.
Jon Stewart and the rest of the Daily Show staff.
Fair enough.
Yeah, no need ot blame the Secretary of Agriculture…
Dubya’s debate coach.
He should get flowers, candy and a fruit basket and stuff.
Osama Bin Ladin for not getting caught.
The american voter, of course.
Bush-- for partying all night long instead of cramming for that first debate. Kerry was just about dead in the water until Bush’s poor performance in the first debate.
I know his name’s already been said, but if Kerry wins tonight, the Dems should honor him in some really fantabulous way. He’s the guy who gave them their backbone transplant, and not a moment too soon.
Kerry should thank:
–Michael Moore and Howard Dean, for putting teeth back into the liberal tiger.
–The Vote or Die! campaign.
–Powell, for admitting that he was duped when he made that UN speech for war on Iraq.
–The shareholders for Sinclair Media Group.
–Mel Gibson, the best conservative film maker there is, for putting his all in Passion of the Christ, not being able to counter Fahrenheit 9/11.
–Himself, for finally remembering that election is a form of war as well, and fighting this campaign like a soldier.
Kerry should thank Bush naturally… the IAEA too.
Richard Clarke
That bazillionaire behind MoveOn.
Speaking of Howard Dean, Brokaw just announced that he’s NBC’s next guest. Maybe he’ll say “You’re welcome, John.”
