People Bush should thank if he wins...

So who should Bush thank that he normally wouldn’t thank if he wins the election ?

I think Dan Rather and **Nader ** are on the top of the list. If Bush doesn’t thank them he is an ungrateful brat. **Osam Bin Laden ** and his eleventh hour video appearance should get an honorable mention.

He needs to thank all the hired thugs that repressed the vote in Miami and Cleveland.

He should also thank the lap dog media that refrained from asking him any difficult questions and that neglected to investigate the blatant corruption in his administration.

And perhaps the hysterical Kerry voters [as opposed to the hysterical Bush voters] who, with their constant nagging, made people vote for Bush just to piss them off.

1- Osama
2- Osama
3- Osama

If it were not for 9/11, Bush would have the same chance as Nader.

I’m not sure winning is something you should thank someone for this time.

Either Bush or Kerry is going to have to cleanup the Iraq mess and the looming budget crisis or take a good deal of blame. These issues aren’t no win situations IMO, but must lose ones.

Michael Moore.

His brother, Jeb, who will likely hand him the state of Florida again. I’m not sure if the Supervisor of Elections is as deep in their pockets this time as Kathryn Harris was but I still have no doubts that one way or the other Bush will win Florida.

I wonder who Jeb will get to hand him swing vote states when he runs for Prez?

I think he should thank the SDMB. A significant number of Democrat supporters here have been absolutely vile in their vituperation of anyone who does not share their views, which automatically reinforces the others’ views.

But all along I thought there was a liberal media bias…

Karl Rove.

The voters, of course. You know, the voters who still think that Saddam had a part in the 9-11 bombings. And don’t forget the voters who think that tax cuts combined with increased government spending is somehow good for a stalling economy. And what about the voters who think that heroes are people that hide when their country is being attacked (by shamelessly making up stories like: “We were informed that Air Force One was a target of the terrorists”)? And, of course, the voters who think that never admitting to your own mistakes is an important quality for a leader to have. Let’s see, who’d I miss? Oh, I know…

Kennedy, O’Connor, Rehnquist, Scalia, and Thomas. Again.

He should thank the jackasses that distribute the “Re-defeat George Bush” bumperstickers, and similar references to the 2000 election. Whether you maintain animosity towards Bush from the election or not, it simply turns off voters that might go either way. It makes it appear that your support of Kerry stems from a grudge against Bush rather than admiration of him as a candidate.

John Kerry & the DNC

Yes, I think most experts agree that most undecideds are less concerned about the war and the economy. They are primarily concerned with bumper stickers.

You should see the kind of stupid comments on pro-Bush sites… if you really want so see “vituperation” of anyone who doesn’t share their views. At least we give Bushites a chance here… all I got for an answer werer “your a brazilian troll”.

There’s a difference… most of us look at those right-wing sites and laugh or shake our heads sadly… the Pubbies look at left wing sites and get all pissed off that someone disagrees with them.

Only when you try to foist them off as ‘cites’.

What people do or think or scoff at is their choice… but when no information goes through… then its impossible to have dialogue or debate. They do have a horrid tendency of labeling everything “liberal” and not listening at all that really is sad.

Its called the conversation of two mutes over here.

They resort to ad hominem we never see here. People keep posting silly news articles about how Brazil is corrupt or politicians were arrested, Lula has only sixth grade education… while I’m trying to point out post war plan in Iraq.

SMDB may be liberal full... but you get a chance...
