I was on one of my occasional [del]suspensions[/del] sabaticals during the Strmfrnt board war and missed it.

Best as I can tell from the board search engine, it happened in the fall of 2002.
(And may have extended into 2003 a bit; it’s hard to tell. IIRC, 2002-2003 was the Winter of Our Missed Content, where a few months’ worth of threads got wiped out.)
Anyhow, the less said about those folks, the better. I’d personally recommend against further mentions of the name of that board, in case they do searches to see who’s talking about them. I’m sure the mods don’t want to have to deal with a bunch of visitors from over there.
They probably have nattier uniforms, but I bet we have better grass.
I have no idea what you’re talking about, and you can’t unring that bell. Did the SDMB cross paths with the infamous white nationalist site?
A couple of them came over here as a group to troll the board. Some members here posted over there. It lasted 20 minutes.
Which was long enough to frighten some members so, 15 years later, we aren’t supposed to state its Beetlejuician name. :rolleyes:
