People tagging gang signs in the hallway in my apartment complex

This sucks. I am glad I only signed a 6 month lease, but moving all this shit to a new apartment is going to be hard.

Apparently a few days ago some kids were messing with cars in the parking lot, trying to break in. They tried to get into my car but couldn’t but they broke the window of a neighbors car. they also tried to break into another neighbors car.

Now I leave for a few hours and when I get back I find gang signs drawn all over the hallway. I’ve lived here a few months, up until this point things like this were never a problem.

And I’m wondering since I reported the car vandalism thing to management if that just means that I will be facing more retaliation. That sucks. I mean I’m ready for it, but I’d rather not have to wake up and find all my windows busted or my car covered in graffiti.

Why do people always focus on the negatives of gang behavior? Give the kids a break and let them have some fun for christs sake

Well, the Boyz in the Hood are always hard, come talkin’ that trash and they’ll pull your card . . .

klunk

lol. That almost makes the whole experience worth it.

How are they going to know it was you who reported it?

Does your state have Stand Your Ground laws?

I am paranoid. there are only 4 apartments in the hallway, so I figured by the process of elimination they’d come to me. I don’t really fit in in this apartment complex. I’d suspect me.

Of course I don’t know how good these people’s inductive reasoning skills are since a few tagged their names.

Best just to play it safe and kill everybody in the building; that’s what I always do.

Make sure you kill yourself last - otherwise, the logistics just don’t quite work out.

Username/Post combo of the week…

Get someone to help you read the graffiti, because sometimes they are leaving important messages. For example, an unsuspecting soul did not know to avoid a street which was plainly labeled STREET OF DEATH (in graffiti) and unfortunately suffered the consequences.:frowning:

Unless you lie.

True. I recognize which gang the graffiti is affiliated with, however some of the other gang names are new to me. But the graffiti is tied to a pretty big gang here in the midwest.

Forward this message to 5 people before midnight or it will happen to your loved one(s) !!!1

I’m inventing goggles (for urban dwellers over forty) that cause graffiti to morph into Helvetica.

Maybe you could procure translations from a neighbor who is familiar with the language of graffiti taggers, yet not so familiar as to be a threat to your existence. Good luck with that.

That does suck. I hate graffiti, and I wish a lifetime of unceasingly itchy groins on every stupid ass kid who sprays paint where it doesn’t belong.

Not what I meant. *Everyone in the building.
