Do people who were blind since birth describe their concept of sight in a similar way?
From what I’ve read, most, if not all, people born blind have a similar concept of sight. They realize they live in a three-dimensional world and know they can’t “see” things as sighted people can; however, they can imagine what something looks like in a way most of us can’t. For example, many blind people know what a lion “looks” like because they have felt a real stuffed lion and can imagine what it looks like based on how it felt.
