You DID compare your life to his, and that’s what we commented on. You stated that you aren’t rewarded for your responsibility, which is demonstrably false even with the relatively sparse data you have provided only in this thread.
I don’t assume you’ll be doing this when you’re 40, but you ARE doing it now. Your resentment of your Brother is probably a side issue as to why you don’t like kids. You explained why you don’t like kids, it’s because you were mostly around adults as a child right?

I’m prone to the vapours when people are basicaly assaulting my child’s upbringing.
I used government money when I was in need. I have hopefuly (I say hopefully because I still don’t earn a fortune!) paid my tax to support someone else in need.
YES, there are people who abuse the system but most are like me, they use the system they have paid into and will continue to pay into to cover moments of “AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH” .
There are people who take the piss, people who abuse the system but system itself is vital.

First she tries to provoke with accusations, she actually manages to stir up some people, and then she accuses them of being offended because they themselves think they are not responsible. Just out of curiosity, because I don’t really know the brother story, but what are all these wonderful goodies your brother gets handed?
I mean, history suggests that what you get for being on welfare is a small welfare check, and the long term result is you get nothing but more welfare checks. It’s a horrible life that leads nowhere. People who deliberately become welfare bums end up with nothing and become nothing. What fantastic benefits is your brother getting that add up to… well, anything worth having?

A few other posters recognize that groups 1&2 are bitter towards each other and are entrenched in bitterness and cannot let go the notion that they may be wrong in their viewpoint…i.e. they prefer to be bitterly “right” rather than happily conceding on some of their viewpoints.
Conclusion: This thread has really become a convenient filter to show the rest of the Doperdom who are the angry, bitter people who cannot let things go, and will forever label themselves as such when this thread will be cited for generations to come.
Or everyone will forget about it in a week except for those people who catalog grudges like this to throw in people’s faces.
