Close and Adams are pretty good choices for most snubbed.
Robert Redford never won an Oscar for acting, which I think might surprise a lot of people. He won one for directing.

That was earlier this calendar year (though yes, it did feel like a long time ago, didn’t it?)
I believe the Afflecks and Matt Damon have four Oscar wins among them.
Yep. 2 for Ben. 1 for Casey. 1 for Matt.
But only Casey Affleck’s Oscar was for acting, and while they have four statuettes, they only have three Oscars in the sense of winning three awards in a category; Damon and Ben Affelck won an Oscar for the same thing, writing “Good Will Hunting.”
Estelle Parsons, best know for playing Roseanne’s mother Beverly Harris won an Oscar for her portrayal of Bonnie & Clyde’s Blanche Barrow in 2967, and was nominated the following year for her portrayal of Calla Mackie in Rachel Rachel.
Hal Ashby. Not for directing. For editing In the Heat of the Night.
Thanks for that. Now I’ve got to watch it.![]()
William Goldman wrote that script.

Is that a whoosh? I know Goldman said he wrote the script but he also made it clear that he was joking when he said this.
