In Bend It Like Beckham I thought Parminder Nagra was both the more beautiful and the more talented of the two lead actresses. While she’s had a respectable career since then, it’s her co-star Keira Knightley who went on to become an A-list leading lady.

Although Amy Adams at least was in shooting range of making those lists earlier in her career she’s over 40 now and unlikely for inclusion anymore. She still makes me feel all funny inside.

Agreed. Her sister in that movie, Archie Punjabi, was also gorgeous and went onto be one of the stars of The Good Wife.
His wife, Amanda Peet, is also gorgeous and used to be on such lists for a time but was forgotten quickly for some reason I’ve never understood.
