According to this page, you’re correct – she’s of Cuban descent, but was born in Queens and grew up in Miami. No mention of Puerto Rico, although it’s certainly possible she’s spent some time there.
I was just going to post that I was wrong. I did a search and found that, indeed, she did grow up in Cuba. My mistake about Puerto Rico. :smack:
At any rate, it’s fun to watch her kick butt in English and Spanish!
