This question wasn’t worthy of a column (I tell myself that it is brilliant, but probably would be published too late to be topical):
Can you tell us petitioners what percentage of the leadership of the “Arab Spring” received college (or higher) degrees in the West? That is, Can we take credit for ay of the pro-democracy movements, because the folks on the streets in Cairo, Benghazi and Damascus voted for their campus student government representative?
Conversely, what percentage of the senior leadership of the asses still clinging to illegitimate power were educated in the West? That is, can we place blame on their despotism and strong-arm tactics from what they learned from the NCAA?
