You can collect your pet hair and have it spun into yarn with this company. This has to be one of the odder niche markets I’ve seen out there. Is there anything that some company out there isn’t doing?
Friend of mine had a Great Pyranees Mountain dog - the hair made some excellent yarn which she made into a couple really nce sweaters (daily grooming, so there was a plentiful supply).
And no, they didn’t smell doggy when wet.
My dog’s hair is course, I don’t think I’d want a sweater made from that. And I’m allergic to cats.
Who would want a cat/dog fur outfit anyway? I love animals, but I spend a lot of time trying to get their fur OFF of my clothes enough as it is.
