Look into either of these cadet programs: Civil Air Patrol, (CAP), or the USCG Auxiliary. The first is the Air Force Auxiliary. Both have programs that you can get into today. If you do well in them, they may help you get what you want when the time comes.
In our local CAP Composite Squadron, the adult leaders are almost all retired military. We have Navy, Army, Air Force, USCG, & one Marine. All of these folks work with the cadets. This provides the cadets with folks who have been there, done that, to speak with. Many of these folks like being able to mentor the cadets. If you find one of these organizations, they could be another source for the information that you seek.
One change I’d make is
Navy- I want to marry an Asian girl.
Seriously every married guy I’ve ever known from the Navy was married to a girl from either Japan or the Philippines.
My mom is Japanese, and my dad’s an Air Force vet.
I’d argue that if “marrying the locals” is a pattern, it can be reliably traced to where the different services were garrisoned at different times. For instance, the “Philippines” example was true for both Air Force (Clark AFB) and Navy (NB Subic Bay), but only up until 1991/1992, when both facilities were closed and turned back over to the locals.
A friend was in the Navy in the late 90s and spent time in the Philippines. Even if there isn’t a base they have to refuel or what have you. He never married anyone from Asia, but oh does he have stories (especially Thailand naturally).
Plenty of Filipino Marine Corps wives when I was in in the mid 90s, but they were all married to Gunnery Sergeants, Lt. Cols and above because Subic Bay had closed.
Still Japanese wives around, but not nearly as many.
