Persimmons and bezoars?

I really like persimmons but they have me a bit worried.

Is there any danger of getting bezoars from eating ripe, skinned persimmons, either raw or cooked?

I know eating unripe ones and their skins can cause it, but I haven’t been able to see if it’s possible with ripe ones.

Thanks

Looks like there is nothing special about persimmons that causes bezoars, but can come from any indigestible plant fibers. From the Mayo Clinic:

Phytobezoars are composed of indigestible food fibers, such as cellulose. These fibers occur in fruits and vegetables, including celery, pumpkin, prunes, raisins, leeks, beets, persimmons and sunflower-seed shells. Phytobezoars are the most common type of bezoar.

Haven’t had a persimmon since I was a kid.

We used to freeze them, then eat them like a Popsicle. Skins and all.

No ill effects.

Mad paternal grandmother used to make persimmon cookies (1970s). I wish I had her recipe. (She also made sour cream-raisin pudding. I’ve found pie filling recipes online, but haven’t tried any.)
