Okay, it’s true that Medal Of Honor recipients are as rare as hen’s teeth, so they can get away with just two numbers, but it could have been a bit more artistic.
As I was walking out of the gym tonight, I saw a plate that read:
MA CRECY
I can only assume that the owner of the vehicle has a mother who is an internationally recognized scholar of Crecy, the famous battle of the Hundred Years’ War wherein the outnumbered English kicked the holy crap out of the French.
Friends of mine, a husband-and-wife couple, both ride BMW motorcycles. Her plate says EISEN, his is PFERDE.

I’ve seen a bike up in Connecticut a few times. A completely outrageous old-style chopped Harley. The plate reads DUI. Seems like that’s just asking to be pulled over, especially if you’re riding a bike with no turn signals, speedometer, front fender, etc., but it’s kind of funny.
