There was a Canadian football (soccer) player called Paul Peschisolido who played in England in the 1990s. Apparently there’s also a Canadian politician called Joe Peschisolido, though I don’t know if they are related.
I always wondered about that surname. It looks as though it ought to mean “solid fish”. Where does it come from? Google didn’t help me.
