What kind of goats? Do you use them for sacrifices or something more interesting?
We got them for keeping our land clean and also for breeding and getting milk but it didn’t work so far (we do have a billy goat, in case someone would asked!). They’re all very tame and are also good at warning us when someone comes. No fancy rituals I’m affraid.
I voted we have a horse but it’s a mule though.
I’ve almost always had a pet, but am currently pet-less. It’s very odd. I’ve actually been thinking about getting some goldfish or betas, as they’re pretty much all I’d be allowed to have without a huge pet deposit and rent increase.
I had two cats until I moved, and was unable to keep them. They lived for a short time with another Doper and now live with my daughter. I like visiting her, if only to see my kitties.
I was sort of co-owner of a couple of cats with my SO, but they live with his neighbor now. I miss them.
Three cats and whatever ephemeral prey they drag in (birds, snakes, mice, spiders, moths).
I have an only occassionaly ill-tempered rabbit. I was also shocked for a moment then slightly cranky cuz there was not bunny option.
Probably should have done “rabbits” instead of “horses,” since, as a couple of people have pointed out, most people don’t let their horses live in the house.
Oh well, too late now.
Nashiitashii and I share our home with two dogs. Sienna is a german shepherd x shar-pei, and Gloey is a pitbull x boxer mix. In our fish tak we currently have a a fat ryukin goldfish, a payara, several catfish, a marble goby, and two clown loaches. Just yesterday we added a beautiful baby green tree python to our collection.
Just ask yourself What would Jesus do? He had no pets. I rest my case.
He also didn’t wear underwear.
I do know that. I’m looking into the various options. The first is a bigger aquarium, which is much more expensive and more space-intensive than is practical right now. The other option is more palatable, and that is to separate them into smaller aquariums. Either way, I’m still getting the hang of keeping an aquarium, so for the short term, they’re fine where they are.
How big do these things get, anyway? Wiki gives some astonishing numbers, then says that that’s not typical.
Two cats, one two year-old boy. (yes, toddlers should be on your list - teenagers, too.)
Fighting Cocks
Two beagles a fat cat and 2 big turtles. One turt is so nasty you can not get near him. I put him on the floor and the cat runs away. The older dog (Nordberg) won’t come down the last 2 steps. The 11 month old puppy (Winston) has not learned. He almost got his nose bit last night.
6 dogs, 4 cats and two horses. Although it’s true, the horses don’t live in the house, but they do live on my farm.

Two cats, down from three with the sad death of The Bibble this summer, two cockatiels, all rescue critters. Have the rescue flashing light on my house, so, always expect more to come.
Gotta say, LIONsob, who posted above, how are you doing, Hon? I remember Ayesha with good heart.
I love my hamster! LOVE HER! She seems to be permanently on speed, but I still love her!
One cat here.
Two cats. A 12 year old female who just wants to lay around and a 3 year old female who just wants to play. The older tolerates the younger but doesn’t want to play and will usually hiss at the younger when she gets rambuctious and tries to play with the older one so I have to go and entertain the younger one for a while.
I’m afraid I don’t get the joke. Please explain?
