Peter F. Hamilton - Pandora's Star, etc.

So a friend recommended I read Peter F. Hamilton’s Pandora’s Star a few weeks ago. Since then, I’ve finished Pandora’s Star, Judas Unchained, and The Dreaming Void. I’ve just started The Temporal Void.

Holy-schnikes I’m loving this author and his books. I realize I may have just missed the boat and Hamilton may be a well known author and these stories quite familiar to those who are into this genre. So anyone else on SDMB enjoy his books? Recommendations on his other works for me to read after I finish The Temporal Void and until the 3rd book in this series is released next year?

He has big, bold, interesting ideas about the future of humanity, which is what makes his books readable for me. However, he often dilutes his stories with way too many cardboard-thick characters, is a little too fond of expressions such as “the glittering ribbon of enzyme-bonded concrete,” and in general is a rather poor stylist.

I still enjoy reading his books, though. You’ll definitely want to read the “Night’s Dawn” series as well, which I liked a lot despite

the disappointing deus ex machina ending.
