Back in the Lee/Ditko days, they once had Peter fail to photograph the blockbuster Spidey/Sandman fight – and so our hero simply re-enacted it for his camera, since, y’know, he was already in costume, so why not stage a couple of perfect snapshots by dramatically punching through a lot of ordinary sand?

I’m pretty sure his blood IS radioactive, it was the radioactivity in his blood that defeated the guy who was hunting spider-men - the guy Ezekiel was warning Peter about, though I don’t remember his name.
In at least one Marvel reality, his blood is indeed radioactive, and it’s not just his blood.
