Pets in situations of Extreme Cuteness

OK. Normally I hate this kind of dog, but that last picture is just too cute for words.

I’m very impressed by how glossy your floor is.

It’s the dog. All that fur being so low to the ground really shines up a wood floor.

Hee! Yeah, that’s the type of dog you always see on America’s Funniest Home Videos that won’t let go of the mop. :stuck_out_tongue:

Got a couple more here.

I lovethis one. Cookie (on the left) looks really excited about something. Also, the hanging toy behind her happens to be positioned just so it looks like she’s wearing a hat.

Lola just looks dorky in this one. She’s usually dorking out in pictures, though.

Definitely. We use her as a mop when she’s sleeping.

Amazon Floozy Goddess, your rats are so cute! Normally, I’d be a little squeamish around them, but they’re just SO. CUTE!

Thanks!

My mom used to not even be able to look at rats…well that’s all changed now. It wasn’t too long after she met my girls that she started calling herself a “Rat Grandma”, and she’s the only mom I know that has a framed picture of rats in her living room.

Ouch,

What you didn’t know is that my sister was completely willing to take her kitty back in that eventuality. He was “on loan” during a rough patch in my life. Was meant to be only temporary (due to the lease). I wholly agree with you, that if there is no other loving home available in advance, it’s not worth the risk.

In the meantime, I’ll go hide in my corner.

What I should have said was, in the meantime, let the cuteness recommence.

My buddy Mocha, who passed away in April days after turning 14, was a very dignified cat. When Lady or Halfie tore around the house in a stir-crazed manner, he’d give them looks that suggested that he thought they were acting rather immaturely - he never did anything like that himself.

However, he did have a weakness for boxes and bags  Who knew he’d like a bag of discarded wrapping paper that much?

You asked for it! Once upon a time there was a kitty of unknown origin. Said kitty eventually wound up as my ward. Originally, the kitty was just going to be a pet, but then…cute began to happen. Kitty soon became a professional hobbist. One of the first was internal inspection of boxes . As I had just moved, there were plenty of boxes to inspect. Alas, boxes became boring and kitty developed a passion for music and learned to play the guitar. Having found an artistic outlet, the kitty then moved on to other fine arts like floral design and sewing where only the finest thread will live up to the kitty’s standard. The Kitty also proved to be useful with household chores like ironing the laundry and removing errant

cranberries from under the dishwasher. Lest you think the kitty is a delecate beast, it also helps out by helping with auto maintanance and unwinds by rock climbing in a nearby state park. However, kitties being kitties, the kitty is most often found snoozing in the sun . See? matt_mcl stole my kitty!!

xbuckeye, who cares about the coding? That was a GREAT story!

xbuckeye that last one is a great photo.
P.S. I havn’t had time to look at everyones photo in this thread, so yours might have been just as good or even possably better.

!

xbuckeye, aweome story… but… but… your apartment (?) looks exactly… exactly… like mine!

Your cupboards, the fridge, the dishwasher…

Do you live in the apartment above me?!

It’s just so eerie…

We did not know it was that kind of thread. My Dumeril’s boa has been off his feed, but showed an amazing amount of interest in many of your pets. Thanks for sparking his interest.

And on top of that, I showed my husband the pictures to show him how eerily similar the place looked (same carpet, cupboards, etc), but I was ready to pass it off as just how similar many apartments are built anyway… then he says “Hey, that’s the cat from upstairs, isn’t it?”

If it is, I’m sorry we have such loud sex. :o

 I can’t be your upstairs neighbor, I live on the ground floor…in another state. After I protested matt_mcl 's stealing of my kitty, I noticed he had the same shelving that I did, too…weird, he’s a storage unit theif too…
My sister has a ‘theory’ that black and white cats of unknown origin are really aliens pretending to be cute furry housepets until they can take over the world. Not only do we all have the same cat, but I bet that almost all of them were rescues.

Thanks everyone for reinforcing that I have the best cat on the face of the earth, sometimes I think I might be biased…nah!

now if we could figure out how to post tactile sensations, I would commence proving that the cutest cat ever is also the softest cat ever…

Interesting. My cat Mac bears a striking resemblance to Zazou, and he was a stray who appeared in our yard during a garage sale.

I don’t think he has any plans for world conquest, though. This is a cat who likes to sleep on the ping-pong table in the middle of a game.

Here’s the cutest dog on the plant.

Brownie

He’s actually a YorkiePoo but he looks a lot like a Yorkie. He’s 11 years old and the light of our life! (except when he’s pottying on the floor)
