Pez anyone?

I’ve become obsessed with the $1 demons. They’re everywhere, and though I have so many, I always have to stop and look to see that there isn’t one there I don’t. Anyone find themselves afflicted like this?

I picked up a dozen Simpsons dispensers at Costco for $2.50!

I love pez! My favorite in my collection is Asterix.

What I really love are kinder eggs. I heard you can’t get them in the States. Pity.

And a ‘kinder egg’ is…? Chocolate? Candy? Chocolate-candy? What?

Oops, sorry, I thought they were famous, I am stupid like that. A kinder egg is a hollow egg shaped milk chocolate with a white innner coating. I’m not sure what the white inner coating is, but it is good. Inside is a little plastic oval shaped ball containing a small prize. Sometimes you have to put it together, which is always fun because the pieces are itty bitty, and other times it’s a small figurine, usually part of a series. One of my favorites is the series of hippo figurines - they even had a tiny hippo bride and groom. Too cute!

Everytime I have to run an errand for work, I buy my co-workers Kindereggs. They used to think I was insane, but now they’re all getting into it.

I just saw their display last week - the 2001 toys are out now (in Canada.)

Also, I’m looking at my Homer Simpson Pez dispenser right now. My Little One was so delighted when I brought the Mickey Mouse one home for her. The only problem is she doesn’t grasp the concept of eating Pez one at a time, and jams a whole pack in her mouth at once. That’s my girl.

tatertot, just because I haven’t heard of them doesn’t mean you are stupid. They sound fun, though. Any way I can get some smuggled to Florida?

I was clicking around collectables at eBay and came across Pez Dispensers. I never realized before that the newer ones have feet. Now I have dig around and see if I still have any of the footless dispensers that are worth money … not that I could part with them. I’m very attached to my neat stuff collections

Anyone else ever notice how much Nancy Reagan looks like a Pez dispenser?

E-mail me and I’ll work something out when I get back from Dublin. I think they are about to start offering the party sized packs, which are in cartons and much better suited to surviving in the mail. I send out tons of cartons this time of year, so one more won’t be any trouble at all.

the white stuff on the inside of the egg is of course, milk chocolate… damn you tater!! I am really in the mood for a kinder egg right now…

sorry, that should read, White chocolate

But it’s tangy-er than white chocolate, not quite so tangy as joghurt filling, but not the same as white chocolate either. It’s just like the stuff in kinder schokolade, but I don’t know what that is either.

I suppose the only thing for us to do, is to buy 2 dozen kinder eggs in Ireland and conduct scientific taste tests.

Oh, yeah, PEZ RULZ!!! <-----had to get back on track somehow.

What do you know this link says that it is white chocolate inside. But how can it be white chocolate when w.c. is the anti-chocolate and kinder eggs are bursting with milk chocolatey goodness? This bears close examination…Twisty prepare 4 dozen kinder eggs, forget the beer, we’re doing research tomorrow!

Oh, yeah and Pez are Cool!

tatertot, a big ol’ suthern hug ta ya! e-mail on the way soon.

What’s with this Pez stuff anyway? I didn’t even know it existed until three or four years ago.

Pez! Glorious Pez!

Pez rocks. I have my stormtrooper dispenser sitting right next to my computer and it is always loaded.

I LOVE PEZ…I LOVE PEZ…I LOVE PEZ. My favorite is the gray Nermal pez… the little kitty from Garfield!

Every day is Dec 25th when I have my Santa Pez. I can only find the fruity Pez refills around here.

I seem to remember that reloading was somehow easier as a kid. Is there some trick I’ve forgotten? Every once in a while, I’ll hold the stack, pull back the foil, and SPROING! Pez go flying everywhere. Apparently the dogs enjoy Pez, too.

I have hundred’s of these things. Little backround… they were first mint dispensers in Germany. Pez is short for the German word for Peppermint. Pezersneffen or something like that.

Nermal? I have all but Nermal on the Garfield side. All the Star Wars, Bugz, Flinstones, PezASaurs, Astrix.

Hey anyone live in a country where they have cherry pez? It’s yummy. And not here in the US.

There are keychains, gum dispensers, watches (I’m wearing one now) and all sorts of stuff. What’s this chocolate thing? Can you get those in Jersey? They sound great.
