and I heard they’re starting with 9 tomorrow. Which mean’s it’s likely we’ll be hit. But only for 90 minutes or so, and there’s a slight chance it won’t happen.

Sacramento has it’s own power plant, so the governor is always going to have power, lucky him. THere are a few other cities that have their own power plants.
How long can the food in the refrig stay fresh?
There’s some good information here: Keeping Food Safe During A Power Outage. It looks like the short answer is about 4 hours as long as you keep the refrigerator door closed, but that site has much more extensive specific help.

It’s on our electric bill, hon.
We are power block 6 at home, as is Kyle’s school, not sure what David’s school is.
I am Block 1 here at work, we lost power for about 2 hours on Thursday, needless to say, I took a long lunch.
