The Conlin beef is this: Okay, some number of folks got pissy about having too few water fountains…some people were pissed that they tried to ban food from outside…some folks were pissed because the sun might be brighter…or, WHAT-EVER!
So, he vents on all the “bitcher ‘n’ moaners” who can’t appreciate a world class stadium and field, and a good team (after the hell at the VET/toilet bowl nonetheless)…
… BUT THEN he tosses the disabled fans into the pool of “bitcher and complainers” and tells them to watch HDTV instead of worrying about accessing a game this year.
I dunno, call me nuts, but telling someone they can’t enjoy part of their life and freedom is a bit diffferent than telling someone to can it because they can’t sneak in their favorite snack food. It’s a little different!
Maybe he is just assuming that all disabled people have to do is just cruise around in wheelchairs, stopping to watch HDTV and can wait til next year.
I know some disabled folks -like anybody else!- who might not be here next year!
