I’m trying to replace a cordless phone battery. (Yeah, I know cordless phones are cheap, but I’d rather spend 8 bucks than 30 or 40 right now.)
My question for those who know about these things: Can you use a different “mAh” than the one the phone came with? I have tried to research this but have found very little info on the Internet.
The battery is a 3.6v 600mAh, and the one I found online to buy is 3.6v 700mAh.
I’m also not sure if NCAD is an abbreviation for Nickel Cadmium, and that’s another slight different in the battery descriptions. Does this matter?
The phone is a GE model 27933GE1-A and even though the battery itself doesn’t have a model number, as best I can tell from a little research, it might be CPB-400D.
Thanks for any help from the battery experts!
