I’ve had this problem once before, and it eventually went away by itself. I’d rather know how to fix it.
I’m using Photoshop CS on a G5 Mac, System 10.4.11. I’m editing hundreds of images, each in its own folder. After I edit each image, I want to save the new version in the same folder as the original, of course with a different file name. A simple “save as” situation. But when I go to “save as,” the default folder is the previous folder that I had worked on, not the folder that the current file is in. If I cancel, then retry to save, it then goes to the correct folder.
Didn’t there used to be some sort of default to control this? I’m not finding anything that looks like it.
